Clint, from Colorado writes: "I bought the deluxe because I'm real active outdoors. I go dirt biking and boating as many weekends as possible. I knew that I'd use it often. We went to Moab riding the first time we used it. I bought a deluxe model made of aluminum. I made the mistake of placing rocks in the base. It got so hot that it melted the gas hose and the screws that hold it together. I thought it was ruined. I came home and was going to throw it away. I ended up putting it in my parts washer. I started to clean it up and it cleaned up great. I bought new screws and a hose and put it back together, it still works great! The next weekend we went to Lake Powell and set it up in the middle of my boat. We took some great pictures. At night the light lit up the cliffs magnificently! Wow! No wood in that part of the world, yet we had the fun of a campfire without the smoke and mess." |
